Requirements:

  • 1–5 years of experience in software testing or automotive validation activities
  • Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Experience with component, integration, or system testing
  • Manual testing experience and defect reporting/tracking
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet is a plus)
  • Understanding of requirement-based testing and test specification creation
  • Experience with debugging and analysis activities
  • Basic to good knowledge of Python programming and/or test automation frameworks
  • Experience working with bug tracking and collaboration tools
  • Good communication skills in English

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with HiL or SIL testing environments
  • Familiarity with EXAM automation or TCG (testCaseGenerator) syntax
  • Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS or Codebeamer
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with calibration and measurement tools such as CANoe, CANape, INCA, or MDA
  • Familiarity with Matlab Simulink
  • Exposure to Synopsys Silver or PPE architecture
  • Driving systems testing experience
  • German language skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual and automated tests for automotive embedded software components and systems
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases based on system and software requirements
  • Perform component, integration, system, HiL, or SIL testing activities depending on project scope
  • Analyze, debug, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with development and system engineering teams to ensure product quality and traceability
  • Support test automation activities using Python and existing automation frameworks
  • Work with automotive communication and calibration tools during validation activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and test environments
  • Participate in agile development activities and cross-functional engineering discussions
