Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, or software toolchain development
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and an understanding of GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Experience working with CMake or Bazel
- Good knowledge of compiler configuration, build targets, and build environments
- Understanding of the automotive V-Cycle and software development lifecycle
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and tooling
- Good Python skills, particularly for build automation and development tools
- Good understanding of Git and standard software development practices
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automotive software projects
- Maintain and improve existing GitLab CI/CD workflows and support the transition to GitHub Actions
- Set up and maintain CMake and/or Bazel build configurations
- Configure compilers, build targets, and development environments
- Develop scripts and tools in Python and PowerShell to automate development and build processes
- Troubleshoot build, CI/CD, and toolchain issues together with development teams
- Ensure builds are stable, reproducible, and suitable for different development environments
- Work closely with software engineers and other teams across the automotive development lifecycle
- Improve existing build and development processes through automation and standardization
- Identify and resolve issues affecting build reliability, performance, or maintainability
- Support the implementation of development and build practices used in automotive software projects
- Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and the ongoing improvement of internal tools and processes
