As a Software Developer, reporting to the Customer Success Manager, you will be part of a globally located team that works on our cutting edge Biometrics passenger processing solutions. Within Customer Success we support, maintain and enhance the solutions alongside other DevOps teams and act as the focal point for setting up Proof of Concepts using our technology stacks for airports around the world and supporting these projects through to live operations. At airports across the world, we provides self-service and agent-assisted passenger processing solutions at every step of the journey from check-in to boarding. With self-service devices to help airports facilitate the need for easy flow management, our product, with just a quick scan of the face, allows passengers to easily validate their identity along the entire passenger journey without having to pull out their passports or boarding passes. Biometrics has fast become a leading capability for airport self-service passenger processing opportunities around the world.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years software engineering experience in a development capacity
  • Profound knowledge of Java is a must
  • Solid knowledge of SOA: (SOAP, REST, gRPC)
  • Experience with AzDo and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Experience with Git is a plus
  • Understanding of networking concepts
  • Ability to coordinate multiple technical streams of work to produce a complete solution
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose issues found in the field and perform software fixes and changes
  • Work closely with product management, service management and other development teams to create solutions for trials and pre-production environments
  • Manage code repositories and work within established merging/branching strategies
  • Maintain the application lifecycle by ensuring dependant software libraries and frameworks are kept up to date
  • Become an expert in the usage and architecture of our products
  • Gain an understanding of our products within the catalogue of solutions for airports
